General
Consultations & Practice
We will discuss this together during a personal consultation. Dr. Güler analyses your individual situation, discusses your wishes, and recommends the optimal treatment — or a combination of several procedures for the best result.
The initial consultation lasts approximately 30–45 minutes. Dr. Güler takes the time to understand your wishes, examines the treatment area, and explains all options with their advantages and disadvantages. You will receive a transparent cost estimate and can make your decision at your own pace.
Costs depend on the type and scope of the treatment. During the initial consultation, you will receive an individual, transparent quote with no hidden costs. Aesthetic treatments are generally self-pay services. In cases of medical necessity (e.g. visual field restriction due to drooping eyelids), coverage by health insurance may be possible.
Yes, exclusively. We only use CE-certified, clinically proven products from reputable manufacturers — for fillers as well as botulinum toxin and PRP kits. Your safety is our top priority.
Yes, many treatments complement each other excellently. For example, eyelid surgery can be combined with a Botox treatment of the forehead, or hyaluronic acid fillers with PRP for a comprehensive rejuvenation result. Dr. Güler will advise you individually on which combinations are suitable for your goals.
Treatments
Pain, Procedure & Recovery
Most treatments are virtually painless thanks to local anaesthesia. For injection treatments such as Botox or fillers, we use the finest needles and, if needed, a numbing cream. Surgical procedures such as eyelid surgery are performed under local anaesthesia or twilight sedation.
This varies depending on the treatment. With Botox and fillers, there is no downtime — you can resume your daily routine immediately. After eyelid surgery, you will be presentable again after approximately 7–14 days. PRP and mesotherapy require 1–2 days of light rest.
Eyelid surgery delivers long-lasting results, typically 10–15 years. Natural ageing continues, but the result remains clearly visible. A healthy lifestyle and good sun protection support the longevity of the result.
Botox typically lasts 4–6 months. After that, the treatment can be easily repeated. With regular application, many patients report that the effect lasts longer over time, as the muscles become accustomed to relaxation.
Yes, this is a major advantage of hyaluronic acid. With the enzyme hyaluronidase (Hylase), the product can be dissolved at any time — partially or completely. If you are unsatisfied with a result, it can be corrected without complication.
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) uses the growth factors from your own blood to stimulate cell renewal. Platelet-rich plasma is obtained from a small blood sample and injected precisely into the skin. It improves skin texture, elasticity, and radiance — entirely without foreign substances.
Safety
Risks & Aftercare
As with any surgical procedure, swelling, bruising, and temporary dryness of the eyes may occur. Serious complications are extremely rare with experienced surgeons. Dr. Güler will inform you thoroughly about all risks and precautions during the consultation.
Possible side effects include slight redness or swelling at the injection sites, which subside within a few hours. In rare cases, mild headaches may occur. When administered correctly by an experienced physician, serious side effects are extremely rare.
Avoid blood-thinning medications (such as aspirin) and dietary supplements (such as vitamin E, omega-3) for at least one week before the procedure. No alcohol 24 hours beforehand. For surgical procedures, please arrive fasting. You will receive detailed instructions during the consultation.
You will receive detailed aftercare instructions tailored to your treatment. As a general rule: cooling for swelling, sun protection, and no sports for several days. Follow-up appointments are scheduled for surgical procedures. Our team is always available for questions.
There is no fixed minimum age. Preventive Botox treatments can be worthwhile from the mid-20s to prevent wrinkle formation. Eyelid surgeries are frequently performed from the age of 40. What matters is not age, but your individual findings and wishes.
